Gary Johnson is a down on his luck chef who moonlights as a fake hitman for the New Orleans police department. He poses as a reliable criminal for hire, but eliminates targets non lethally.  When a desperate woman, Violet, asks him to help her escape an abusive husband, Gary breaks protocol and gets entangled in a real criminal situation.
